Enhancing Oncology Model is a 5-year voluntary model that aims to drive transformation and improve care coordination in oncology care by preserving and enhancing the quality of care furnished to beneficiaries undergoing treatment for cancer while reducing program spending under Medicare fee-for-service. EOM builds on lessons learned from OCM and feedback from the oncology community, including OCM participants, patient advocacy groups, oncology professional associations, and others to further advance the journey in value-based care in oncology.

Timeline

EOM will begin July 1, 2023.

How we can help

Whether you’re a current EOM participant or want to learn more about oncology episodes of care, we can help you:

  • understand the top financial drivers across all episodes, including drug utilization;
  • analyze key aspects of your end-of-life care, including hospice and inpatient service utilization; and
  • compare episode volumes and key metrics about your patient population across different cancer types.

We offer

  • Opportunity Analysis for Bundled Payments

    Providers need a deep understanding of their population before considering participation in an alternative payment model or alignment with providers who have at-risk arrangements. DataGen simulates episodes of care for every healthcare provider in the country to help them understand volume, expenditures and utilization in an episode framework for BPCIA and CJR programs.

  • Performance Period Monitoring for Alternate Payment Model

    We work with providers across the country participating in alternative payment models. DataGen provides key insight and consultation to help hospitals, health systems, post-acute and other healthcare providers evaluate new programs and monitor how effectively their strategies are working to ensure financial stability and high quality care.
